Mustapha Hussein

Mustapha Qusay Hussein al-Tikriti (January 3, 1989 - July 22, 2003) was the son of Qusay Hussein, and grandson of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein.

On July 22, 2003, 14-year old Mustapha was killed, along with his father Qusay and uncle Uday Hussein, during a raid by U.S. troops on a home in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. He was the last one to die. When U.S. forces entered the compound he was hiding beneath the bed (probably seriously wounded). Once U.S. forces entered, he began shooting and according to the official report, soldiers had to return the fire. However there are conflicting reports, from both locals and the army, as to what truly happened in those final moments.
