Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Melee is a video game of the fighting game genre released in 2005 by Konami. This game is an excellent example of breaking the fourth wall in video games. Mostly, after losing a fight, the character may say some quotes, blatantly directed at the player. Some examples include:
- Leonardo's "You gotta work with me here."
- Michelangelo's "C'mon bro. You gotta use me better than that."
- Raphael's "Look... don't get me mad, human. I'll bust outta ya TV and rot ya."
- The Shredder's "If i could come out of your TV, you'd be very sorry, now!"
- April's "You're making me look bad."
- Casey's "We're suppose to be working together, right? Now help me out here."
and many more.
