Mwaffaq Otoom got his M.Sc. degree in Computer Systems from Arizona State University in 2006 and his B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Yarmouk University in 2004. He is currently PhD student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech). Mr. Otoom worked as computer engineer at Yarmouk University (2004-2005). Mr. Otoom was a recipient of scholarships from the Jordanian government (1999-2004), Yarmouk University (2005-2010), and Arizona State University (2006), and currently from Virginia Tech (2006-2007). His research interests are in the areas of System on Chip (SoC), embedded systems, software process, and distributed programming.
