MyScan

MyScan is an impulse panel measurement service provided by ACNielsen which aims to track impulse food purchasing which would not be recorded by traditional home based panel measurement services such as Homescan.
The process involves the panelists scanning their purchasing using a barcode reader incorporated into a keyfob. This data is then transmitted to ACNielsen on a weekly basis and is used to produce figures and trends for the companies manufacturing client base.
