Operation: N.U.G.G.E.T./Operation: M.A.C.A.R.R.O.N.I. (Numbuh Uncovers Glistening Golden Edible Treat/Museum's Artwork Cruelly And Recklessly Ripped Off Nearly Impossibly) are episodes 403/42 of Codename: Kids Next Door.

[edit] Plot/Synopsis

Numbuh 4 is happily skipping along because it's Saturday. While Numbuh 4 is skipping along, he falls in a stream and starts to panic (remember, he can't swim; see Op. U.N.D.E.R.C.O.V.E.R.). However, he soon discovers a chicken nugget, which he is proud of until it is taken by a cowboy named Chicken Pete who proceeds to brag about it. After Pete leaves with all the cowboys who have come to mine nuggets, Numbuh 1 appears and Numbuh 4 asks incredulously if he's in on this too. Numbuh 1 tells Numbuh 4 gleefully that he runs the saloon.

In the tavern, Numbuh 2 gets a drink for Numbuh 4. Meanwhile, the girls (Numbuh 3, her sister Mushi, and Lizzie Devine, all dressed up for the occasion) sing a song called "Give Me Your Chicken Nuggets" which the boys enjoy.

However, the party is soon spoiled by the appearance of the Delightful Gang (the DCFDTL wearing cowboys hats). They show the KND that they own the deed to the land and all the nuggets, and they have their minions drag the KND off to prison. When Numbuh 4 demands his nugget, the DG say they already ate it and laugh wickedly.

In prison, Numbuh 4 complains that he wants his nuggets, 'cause he discovered "this cruddy mine". When Pete comes by, he tells them the DG appointed him to guard their cell, but he slips across the news that he could be persuaded to give them the keys with the right payment. Numbuh 1 tells Numbuh 4 to give him the nugget "for Pete's sake" and when Nigel tosses it to Pete, he replies that he's right and gives them the keys. He asks how they'll fight the DG without weapons, but Numbuh 1 reminds them that they're the Kids Next Door.

The KND bust out of jail, send the Chicken Men to jail, set free the kids mining nuggets for the DCFDTL, and the kids appoint Numbuh 4 as the town sheriff. The DCFDTL notice their workers have been set free by the KND. Numbuh 4 tells them they are taking back the town and gives the DCFDTL the count of Q to scram and never come back. Numbuh 4 gets to counting, and after he says Q, the DCFDTL fire their guns at him, and Numbuh 4 fires ketchup at them. The Delightful Gang and their minions are forced to flee the town. The kids cheer, and then, Chicken Pete tells the kids someone discovered onion rings. Numbuh 4 wakes up from his dream sequence and continues his day.

[edit] Plot/Synopsis

The episode begins as the KND do a prisoner trade: the most pathetic villain, the Toilenator, for the most unlucky and practically hated KND operative of them all: Numbuh 13 (!!).

After the prisoner trade, they head back to the Treehouse HQ via C.O.O.L.B.U.S. and Numbuh 13 tells Numbuh 1 that the villains are planning to have their own macaroni and cheese dinner tonight.

They try to send Numbuh 13 back to their sector, but all attempts fail. Numbuh 13 asks the team if they planned to stop the adults' dinner, but Numbuh 4 tells them that interrupting the macaroni and cheese dinner wasn't a mission. Numbuh 13 tells them that they were planning to get their dinner from the Macaroni and Cheese Art Museum where, Numbuh 3 knew, the Rainbow Monkey Lisa exhibit was being held.

When they get to the museum, they notice Mr. Boss and the Ice Cream Men got there first. While Mr. Boss and the Ice Cream Men collect their dinner, the KND ambush them. Mr. Boss tells them to hold off the KND Operatives while he gets a special piece of dinner. As the KND operatives battle the Ice Cream Men, the battle doesn't go so well. Meanwhile Numbuh 3 is clobbering Mr. Boss.

When Mr. Boss decides to surrender, Numbuh 3 notices the painting is missing. Numbuh 13 has it! Numbuh 13 trips and breaks the painting, causing Numbuh 3 to scream REALLY LOUD and causing the Ice Cream Men and Mr. Boss to flee! Despite the mission being a failure, the KND were more than kind enough to let Mr. Boss recapture Numbuh 13.

During the credits, Numbuh 3 tells the team on how Numbuh 13 saved them all from disaster, even though they thought he was a disaster. Numbuh 4 tells her he didn't save them from disaster. Numbuh 3 crosses her arms and says "What a loser!".
