Nadana
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nadana is a small village near Taraori in Haryana, India. It is famous for basmati rice. It once became famous for self powered tubewells i.e. water started flowing from a tubewell without power. People perceived it as a sign of some super natural power. People came from distances to bathe in the tubewell water as a cure for ailments. Surprisingly many got well after taking bath(Could be a placebo effect). A temple(place of worship) quickly came up at that place. It lasted for a few months until someone saw eucalyptus leaves coming out of the water. Later it turned out to be seepage from nearby canal.
