Nagathihalli Chandrashekhar is a noted Indian Kannada film director and writer.

An alumnus of the University of Mysore, his foray into the film world began with writing the screenplay and lyrics for the movie 'Kaadina Benki' directed by Suresh Heblikar. Over his career he has written over 15 novels and travelogues.
