Nalvi

Nalvi is a big village in Haryana(a North Indian state), India.
It is located just off the national highway no.1, 20 k.m. before ambala cantt, with majority of the population being Sikh. Most inhabitants work in agriculture fields. The village is approximately 170 year old. It is named after one of the great Sikh warriors, Hari Singh Nalwa, who as a military general of Ranjit Singh's army. He was the Governor of Kashmir in 1822-23 A.D.
