Nandi Awards

The Nandi Awards are the most significant awards given in Andhra Pradesh, more specifically for Telugu Cinema. Each year, awards are given by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
Nandi means bull. The name is choosen, since the big grantie bull located at Lepakshi is treated as one of the cultural and historical icons of Andhra Pradesh state.
