NARI

NARI is a representation for National Agricultural Research Institute for Eritrea. This instite previously was know as DARHARD (Department of Agricultural Research and Human Resources Development). The Institute is a semi autonomous of the Ministry of Agriculture.
NARI is also a representation for the Nanjing Automation and Research Institute, based in Nanjing, China.
NARI (Eritrea) has five divisions:
- Animal Resources Research,
- Crop Development Research,
- Natural Resources Management Research,
- Agricultural Engineering Research,
- Human Resources Development and Training.
It has also other supporting Units:
- Socio Economics Unit,
- Planning and Statistics Unit,
- Communication and Puplic Relations Unit.
