Narodnoe Opolcheniye

Narodnoe Opolcheniye (Russian: Народное ополчение, lit. "people's militia") was the name of irregular armies, formed from among ordinary people in Russia and Soviet Union to fight alongside the regular army during several wars:
- First People's Militia, a people's militia formed in 1611 during the Polish–Muscovite War of 1605–1618
- Second People's Militia, a people's militia formed in 1611-1612 during the Polish–Muscovite War of 1605–1618
- People's Militia (1812), a people's militia formed in 1812 during the French invasion of Russia
- People's Militia (1941), a people's militia formed in 1941 during the Great Patriotic War
