The Naruto HeadBands.
The headbands, or forhead protectors, symbolize that the person is a true ninja from the village whose symbol is on the metal. A ninja will gain a free headband after graduating from the ninja Academy. besides being worn on the forhead, forhead protectors can be worn as a belt, arm patch, a way to hold long hair back, and around the neck. Also bandanas with a metal plate as been seen on a few people. a slash through the symbol shows that the ninja has left his or her village and is classified as "rogue."
