Natalia Druyts

Natalia Druyts (born on December 3, 1980 in Westerlo, Belgium), best known by her stage name Natalia, was the first runner-up of the first season of Idool 2003, the Belgian version of Pop Idol.
She has graduated as translator English-Spanish. Her idols are Céline Dion and Anastacia.
In January 2006 she performed TEN concerts with The Pointer Sisters in Sportpaleis, Antwerp. Over more than 120,000 people enjoyed the show.
In October 2005 Natalia released a single together with The Pointer Sisters, Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves. The song reached number 2 in Belgium charts. Natalia will perform together with En Vogue & Shaggy on the stage of the Sportpalies in Antwerp(Belgium) in January 2008. (Natalia meets En Vogue feat. Shaggy)

In February 2004 Natalia took stage for the prefinals of the eurosong contest in Belgium. With her song "Higher Than The Sun" she hit the finals, but she lost from Xandee (1 Life). The song reached number 2 in Belgium charts.
[edit] Dancing With The Stars
The Belgian television company "VTM" asked Natalia to join "Dancing With The Stars" in January 2006 (in Dutch: Sterren Op De Dansvloer). Although she was very busy (Me & my Producer, during November and December & Natalia meets The Pointer Sisters, during January) she said yes. Together with her profesional dancer, she ended up second.(again)

- Friday the 13th of January 2004, she gave her first live concert (with band). "This Time-on tour" was the name. She sang all her numbers of the album This Time and some covers. Such as River Deep, Mountain High by Tina Turner.
- Her second tour, Back For More live, started at 5 November 2004. The show existed of her own songs and some covers, such as an Elvis medley, Tina Turner medley and "Hanky Panky" by Madonna. The show is recorded on DVD.
- Her third tour, Me & my Producer, started on 1 November 2005. As the title suggested, her producer appeared on stage as well. In this show, there were less musicians and more backing vocals.
- In January 2006 Natalia gave 10 sold-out shows in Belgiums largest concert hall, Sportpaleis in Antwerp. Over more than 120,000 people enjoyed the show. Right after the show, they were able to buy a live CD of the concert they had just seen. (10 different CD's) The CD wasn't available in stores.
