Nathalie Schwarz

As Director of Radio, Nathalie Schwarz is responsible for all radio and DAB multi-media at Channel 4. In this position, she has overseen the establishment of Channel 4 Radio and led the formation of the 4 Digital Group consortium. She is also Chair of Oneword Radio, jointly owned by Channel 4 and UBC Media.
As Capital Radio's Strategy and Development Director (1998 to 2005), Nathalie played a leading role in Capital's £710m merger with GWR to form Gcap Media in 2005.
Prior to the merger, as a main Board Director of Capital Radio plc., she played an instrumental role in the expansion of the business through a series of acquisitions including the Century Radio network, Beat FM in Scotland and Choice FM in London. She also had management responsibility for the company's digital media strategy alongside business and commercial development, regulatory and public affairs and market research and the company's charity and community functions.
She has been a Board Director on several digital radio multiplex groups including MXR and CE Digital and has represented Capital Radio at the DRDB.
Nathalie started her career with global law firm Clifford Chance, qualifying as a corporate finance lawyer in 1995.
