Nathan B. Young Middle Magnet School

Nathan B. Young Middle School was opened in 1964 on East Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Tampa, Florida.
The school is named in honor of Nathan B. Young, a Florida Educator, who served as head of the English Department at Tuskegee University in Alabama. He also served as president of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee from 1901 to 1923.
The school colors are Columbia blue and white.
The school mascot is the Buffalo.
