Nathan Jon Kreitzer (born Iowa, 1967) is the founder and director of the Quire of Voyces, a renown a capella chorus specializing in music of the Renaissance and 20th century. He began his life in music singing in the church. He later studied voice and conducting at California State University, Fresno where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance. He holds a Masters degree in Choral Conducting from University of California at Irvine. As a professional vocalist, he has appeared with the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, the Ventura Master Chorale, the Pacific Chorale of Orange County, the Irvine Camerata, and the Oregon Bach Festival Singers directed by Helmuth Rilling. Kreitzer has been singing and conducting professionally since 1989. He is the Director of Choral and Vocal Activities at Santa Barbara City College and Director of Music at First United Methodist Church.
