National Cathedral Association
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The National Cathedral Association is an organization that seeks to provide funds and promote the Washington National Cathedral.
It consists of more than 14,000 people across the United States. It is subdivided into State committees. More than 88% of its members live outside the Washington area. Every year, each State is remembered in the prayers of the cathedral. Every four years, a state has a Major State Day, at which time those who live in the state are encouraged to make a pilgrimage to the cathedral and dignitaries from the state are invited to speak. American state flags are always displayed in the nave.
