National Chemical Emergency Centre

The United Kingdom's National Chemical Emergency Centre (NCEC) is based at Harwell in Oxfordshire, England.
It operates the "Chemsafe" emergency telephone line through which chemists answers questions from emergency responders about unknown or potentially hazardous chemicals that they encounter.
NCEC was founded in 1973 under the Atomic Energy Authority and is now owned by AEA Technology plc.
