National Day of Reason
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The National Day of Reason is a secular holiday (or, possibly celebration) in the United States instituted by atheists and secularists as an alternative to the National Day of Prayer. Rather than spending the day praying, they have organized the gift of their own blood donation to save the lives of others.[1] It is celebrated on the first Thursday in May every year, which coincides with the National Day of Prayer.
