[edit] Vanity Page
Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Russell Zen may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. On Wikipedia, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. Nationalparks 02:12, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
- This also applies to adding your name to other pages (i.e. List of cellists). If unsure, please consult the notability guidelines. CA387 18:45, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Update: I'll take your word for it, then. It's just that I noticed that someone deleted your name off the list; I assumed it was you after I saw the "Vanity Page" thing in your user talk. Oh well, I guess you know the saying... CA387 23:24, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] China in the UN
I have hopefully resolved your questions on the Chinese UN seat on the UN talkpage. If you have any further queries/questions/etc. please post a message on my talk page so I am aware and hopefully able to help. --CTerry 17:05, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi Russell. Got your message. GA resolutions are actually binding on some things (IE the UN budget), and one of the things its binding on is who the UN recognises. In any case, shortly after the GA resolution the Americans have their rapproachment with China, and as a result recognised the PRC over the ROC anyways. --CTerry 16:02, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
