Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love

Revenge of the Nerds IV: Nerds in Love is a 1994 sequel to the 1984 film Revenge of the Nerds. In this movie Dudley (Booger) Dawson (Curtis Armstrong) is getting married, but the father of the bride tries to stop them.
Originally it was a made-for-TV movie, and as a promotional gimmick Fox distributed a series of scratch and sniff cards to be sniffed at certain points. A prompt would appear at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to let you know when to smell your card and which card to sniff. Several other network shows employed similar gimmicks with smellable cards and 3-D glasses, both sold at local merchants', at around the same time, including Living Single and Married... with Children.
A part of the plot where Booger is trying to find the origin of a supposed bastard child reveals that Booger is from Akron, Ohio. The child is from Sandusky, Ohio where Booger spent much of his time. At the end of the movie Booger and his wife adopt the orphan hired to play Booger's child.
