[edit] Route description
From Nevada State Route 589 (West Sahara Avenue) northwest to U.S. 95; former Nevada State Route 55. This route lost mileage between 1996 and 2000. It is cosigned with Business U.S. 95 throughout. This route is on the short list of routes to be decommissioned in its entirety and remanded to the city of Las Vegas; this would result in the elimination of SR 599, and the business route would probably be removed as well.
