New Canaan Country School

New Canaan Country School (abbreviated NCCS) is private day school located in New Canaan, Connecticut. The headmaster is Timothy Bazemore, and it runs grades Preschool-9. Blue and white are the primary colors of the school.
There are four "schools" within the entire campus: The Thacher Building (Preschool-kindergarten) named for former headmaster Nick Thacher; The Welles Building (Grades 1-4; also called "Lower School"); The Middle School (Grades 5-6); and The Stevens Building (Grades 7-9; also called "Upper School").
There is also construction going on at the moment. NCCS is adding an elevator, and many class rooms, which will become science labs, and art studios to the Stevens Building. These facilities will be available for use to the seventh, eighth and ninth grade students.
