An 8th grade student brought a BB gun to school on March 14, 2007, police say. The student who had brought the gun to school gave the gun to a 6th grader to hide. After several kids reported to the vice principal that the kid had possession of the gun the school resource officer was notified. There was no threat and no plan to use the weapon. The two students were charged with possession of a weapon on school grounds. It was reported that legal actions have been taken and parents were notified.[1]
