Talk:New York minute (time)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"It is a joke, especially in New York City, to define a New York minute as the amount of time between the light in front of you turning green and the taxicab behind you honking" Do NY-ers really imagine that you can wait a full minute (60 seconds) at a green light anywhere else in the world without being honked at? --Random832T 19:15, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
