[edit] Gaelic translation
I have taken the liberty of removing the gaelic translation of Newmachar because Gaelic was never widely spoken in the North-East of Scotland and as such the village (which was known as Summerhill until about the start of the 20th century in any case) would never have had a Gaelic name. killerwraith 1111 11_01_07 (UTC)
It seems that another user (possibly the same, as they are only identified by an IP Address) has gone about re-adding a Gaelic translation of Newmachar. As the above states, this is rather nonsensical and could you please add to the talk page the reasoning behind why you believe it appropriate.
I have gone about reverting to the previous version.

[edit] Cleanup
The cleanup which took place for this article seems to have seriously decreased the size of the article since I last saw it. Was it necessary? --NeoNerd 14:54, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
