Nick Sakai

Nick Sakai (b. November 6, 19??, Osaka, Japan) is a Japan-born American actor. While he was attending college (CUNY Hunter), he was cast in critically acclaimed outdoor drama "Stonewall-Night Variations." During the run, the casting director of ABC soap All My Children attended the show and called him in. That's how his TV career started. Though he did not get cast in that show, his gigs for other soaps followed. After years of off Broadway theaters, voiceovers and commercials, he made the first primetime guest appearance on the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He has also been seen in Third Watch, Guiding Light, As The World Turns, Saturday Night Live, and other shows. Last year, he produced, directed and starred in his own short film, Telling Tales. Currently he is in post production for his second film, Three Minute Love Affair.
He studied with Suzanne Shepherd (Requiem for a Dream,The Sopranos), Maggie Flanigan at William Esper Studio and Loyd Williamson.
