Nickelodeon Central

Nickelodeon Central is an area inside five of Cedar Fair Entertainment Co.'s parks and Dreamworld. Each one has unique attractions, and took the place of the Hanna Barbara or Other Nickelodeon areas. The first Nickelodeon Central opened in 2000 at Kings Dominion, followed in 2001 by Kings Island, Dreamworld in 2002, and in 2003 at Carowinds, Great America, and Canada's Wonderland. The Carowinds area was expanded in 2005, taking over Animation Station (That park's incarnation of Hanna Barbara Land) and Zoom Zone. The Kings Island area was also expanded in 2006, and was renamed to Nickelodeon Universe.
