[edit] Article on Attacks and Abilities
I personally don't think we should merge the article about Nico Robin's Attacks and Abilities with her main article due to its length, and as the story progresses, we'll probably see more of her attacks, thus augmenting the article even further. I've also noticed how other One Piece characters have seperate articles listing their attacks, so I don't see any reason why Robin's should be merged with her main article. [edit] Shorten Article
I've sumarized the article because it was really long and detailed every single known thing Robin has ever done, which is not nesisary. Only up to chapter 353 though, since I havn't read any further yet. Someone else can do that, or I will when I'm caught up.
- I think it needs that attention again. Its got an aweful lot of long paragrahs. Is there a way to shorten all this info into small paragraphs? Angel Emfrbl 17:58, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Is there really anything wrong with the long paragraphs? After all, these are encyclopedia articles meant to give as much information as possible to the readers. Many people I know often go on Wikipedia for spoilers, so therefore, they enjoy the long paragraphs. Nights1stStar 20:45, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
If you really want the article to appear shorter, perhaps we should make seperate sections for Water 7 and Enies Lobby. Nights1stStar 22:35, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Those Pink Petals?
In One Piece: Grand Battle Robin seemed to throw around a lot of pink petals to create surfaces for her to sprout arms from. Can anyone confirm if she does this in the manga/anime? And if so, anyone have any idea as to what kind of petals they are (cherry blossoms?)?
- No, in the manga at least, Robin does not use petals.
Then petals are an effect. she uses Hana Hana fruit powers, and Hana is flower. So sometimes when she uses or puts away the parts of her that shew grew, she has flowers come off of them.
The flowers look very much like cherry blossom petals, and are just special effects the video game put in. In the anime and manga, petals do not appear when she attacks(unless you count this one scene in an opening song). The flowers spring from the idea that Robin can sprout multiple replications of any body part on a surface, just like flowers.
- Actually from time to time they DO appear in the scene in both the manga and anime. Just not very often. They appear when her arms sprout or disappear. I can prove it too with the anime... Just watch the ep where Luffy + Zoro return from being beaten up by Bellamy. She hands up a map to the crew on board Merry and you can see the petals. As for Manga... Check out the group bounties:
- You can clearly see at least one petal on Robin's poster. Angel Emfrbl 20:26, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] poorly written
Can someone please rewrite the CP9 bit... Up to the buster call mention, its fine... But its a bit confusing to read because 'actually' is use for apparently no reason, then the buster call which hasn't been mentioned until that point. Angel Emfrbl 21:37, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
- I'm going to work on the article this weekend. Selphish 15:14, 07 September 2006 (UCT)
[edit] Her Height
Is she really 6'2"? That's freakishly tall for a female... Renegade78 06:06, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
- I believe its correct. What so freakish about a women being that tall??? Its not unheard of you know? Angel Emfrbl 17:58, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- It's not that Robin's freakishly tall... it's that everyone else is really short. Quite a bit shorter than they are drawn, in fact. That's pretty common in manga though, they're always messing up the character heights. So don't worry about it too much. --tjstrf 18:08, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

-
- Luffy is 5'7". Thats about average height depending. He is short, but not too short. So yeah... Robin is tall compared to the rest of the crew. Angel Emfrbl 22:24, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

- Oda is using height to emphasize Robin's age —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.218.79.155 (talk) 15:28, 31 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] All Sunday?
What exactly does All Sunday mean? 69.192.62.63 19:02, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think it's a Catholic holy day. I remember seeing the term used in some Arthurian books I've read before, where I believe it was a reference to Whitsunday, but don't quote me on that. --tjstrf 19:10, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- Okay all the officer female agents in BW are named after happy days of the year. Miss All Sunday comes from the fact 'all Sundays are suppose to be happy ones'. There is your meaning. Its written on the BW page. I forget which SBS Oda wrote that in. Angel Emfrbl 19:25, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] A request
Okay, the 'Saulo's friendship' and 'Saulo's Sacrifice'... Can we cut these down to 3 paragraphs, 3 at the most. There is no need for such huge details. If it can't be helped... Fine, but we don't need to have every events leding to what happened listed. If someone wants to know more, they can read the manga, watching the anime or look up a fan site. Angel Emfrbl 19:42, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

- Then the reason Wikipedia is here because? Kljs 08:26, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

- I'm a huge nico robin fan, but I agrees with him. This section is now like a text version of the manga. It should be shorten to atmost half the currnt size. by Don —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 58.64.126.89 (talk) 20:39, 23 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Similarities
There are a lot of similarities between this article and this one: http://www.answers.com/topic/nico-robin 69.169.92.216 02:37, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
- That's a site that mirrors Wikipedia. (Justyn 00:48, 7 December 2006 (UTC))
[edit] Profile image
I reverted the profile image back to its previous state, which depicts Robin in the Enies Lobby arc. Luffy, Nami, Zoro and most of the Strawhat Crew's profile images are also from this arc. For now, It's only logical that this profile image is left as it is.203.218.79.155 15:42, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Best option, the other image is badly drawn around the nose area. Angel Emfrbl 19:06, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Seriously, can we stop changing the picture? Lets keep it the same for more then one day please. And lets stick a Robin of present drawing style. Angel Emfrbl 07:30, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Okay
Can we leave this image as the photo one here... I know its not the best, but after the constant edit wars over the images, its best to declare one image is the choice for her profile and leave it at that. If anyone changes it, wrevert to this one. I expect this image to stay up for at least a number of weeks, I'm trying to end a war here... Angel Emfrbl 21:29, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- While we're on the subject of pictures... Anyone got a better picture of her as a child. That one of her we have here right now in her history section - it makes her look like a jellybaby. Seriously, it does. XD Angel Emfrbl 22:11, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
