Please do not manually move pages (or tag ones that have been for speedy deletion). Instead, use the move tab, as this preserves the page history (needed for licensing reasons). I'm now going to perform a history merge... Petros471 17:22, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

Please don't revert back the images at Pinocchio (1940 film) and Alice in Wonderland (1951 film). I am sorry, but these images are not allowed like that. See also talk:Pinocchio (1940 film). Btw, when you reverted alice in wonderland, you also removed other changes I made to the article. Garion96 (talk) 11:33, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Warning
Personal attacks, such as this one [1] are not acceptable on Wikipedia, especially when it is combined with the vandalism of a user page. Fortunately User:Garion96 has taken in it good humour, but please watch your conduct in future, and try to remain civil. ed g2s • talk 20:54, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Hi Nick. I'm afraid I believe that consensus was reached. Of the five people who expressed a view, you were the only one asking for the article to be kept, and while it's not a numerical vote that it 4:1 against. —Whouk (talk) 08:53, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Carmen Electra
I am going to assume that your comment about hurting wikipedia was directed at the guy who keeps deleting the fair use images, leaving nothing but the mugshot. I am fine with having the mugshot in there (well, fairly fine) but not as the only photo, because it carries the impression that she's a career criminal. But that guy keeps deleting the fair use images based on his personal interpretation of the rules, and starts the cycle over again. Wahkeenah 19:38, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, you should ask an actual Admin for a ruling on it. You could also post that mugshot for deletion on the grounds that it's inherently POV. You could point out that you were unaware that uploading it would lead to this "lame edit war" as you so aptly put it. Wahkeenah 19:48, 10 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hello
Greetings friend! We got your mediation case down at the Mediation Cabal, and I'm here to help you out. Right now I'm reading the talk page and article history to get a firm idea of what's going on. Replies can be posted either here, or on my talk page. I hope we can get this settled rather cleanly, heh. -- The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake {Prophesize) 17:06, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
- ER... well. It's been a while since you filed your case, and you haven't really replied to my message... so unless I get a reply soon, I'll be closing the case for reasons of inactivity. Thank you for your time. -- The Prophet Wizard of the Crayon Cake {Prophesize) 01:59, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Unspecified source for Image:Thats-life.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Thats-life.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu Badali 01:12, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Swain.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Swain.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

[edit] Zomba Choir
A tag has been placed on Zomba Choir, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (below the existing db tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ElaragirlTalk|Count 09:24, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
