Nir Itzhak

Nir Itzhak (ניר יצחק or Nir Yitschak) is a kibbutz in the Negev area of Israel, between the area of Hevel Shalom to the area of Hevel Ashkol. The kibbutz was established in 1949, and is named after Itzhak Sadeh (kibbutz Mashabey Sadeh is also named after him).
The population stands at about 570 people, and the area of the kibbutz is about 6,000 dunams (6 km²).
