Nisha Millet

Nisha Millet (Kannada: ನಿಶಾ ಮಿಲೆಟ್) is a swimmer from Karnataka, India. She has retired from a professional swimming career which spanned 16 years with over 600 gold medals at various domestic and international competitions. She started swimming in 1991 at the age of 9, won her first medal in 1992 at the sub junior nationals and then progressed on to represent India at various competitions culminating with an Olympics qualifier for Sydney 2000 (where she was the first Indian woman swimmer to qualify for the Olympics). She is currently involved with coaching swimmers (young and old)at a variety of clubs and schools in Bangalore.
