Noel King

Noel King was appointed the Republic of Ireland's women's association football team manager in 2000. He played for Dundalk (2 spells), Shamrock Rovers (2 spells), Home Farm, Bohemian FC, Valenciennes and Derry City FC.
In November of 1985 he left Milltown to become manager at Derry. After 3 years there he was appointed Rovers player manager but was sacked from after 3 years in December 1991 after guiding the club to the 1991 FAI Cup Final. With Limerick FC he won the League Cup in 1992. In 2001, he replaced Dermot Keely (who was on medical rest). He again worked with Shelbourne's management team in 2002, after coaching in the eircom League with Drogheda United. He also managed Finn Harps F.C. during their play-off battle with fierce local rivals Derry City F.C.
Whilst playing for Rovers he won one Inter-League cap.
His son Brian currently plays for UCD.
