Sodium nitroprusside is used as vasodilator. For what purpose is this compound used?--Stone 22:30, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not too sure in the above case, but it seems that compounds that release NO/NO2 have application in medical treatments. I think the NO/NO2 interact with bio-receptors and trigger/repress the natural biological response. --Quantockgoblin 13:09, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
