Nordharz

Nordharz ("north Harz") is a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") in the district of Wernigerode, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is situated north of the Harz, and north of Wernigerode. The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft is in Veckenstedt.
The Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Nordharz consists of the following municipalities (population in 2005 between brackets):
