Recommend changing name to North Carolina hardcore, as the scene has now expanded far beyond Raleigh/Durham. Ridethefire3211 16:16, 22 August 2005 (UTC)
Might want to add a small section on NC hardcore to Music of North Carolina - Use the "main" or "details" tag to refer back to this article. Morphh 03:06, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
Crimson Spectre aren't on Tribunal Records--they're on Magic Bullet.
The article on Charlotte is really terrible. It looks like it was done by someone who was only into punk rock since 2000. No mention of Buzz-Oven, PEN 15, Social Savagrey, etc. Also, the bit on the Milestone is a joke. The club has been around since the late 1970's, not the 80's. And no mention of all the great band tags on the walls is a real crime. Also nothing on the long boycott of the Milestone, and the period of shows at the old Yellow Rose off South Blvd.
Where's the discussion of the Asheville scene? Asheville has an enormous music scene and it deserves mention. The only reference is to Secret Lives of the Freemasons. I'd take on the task but I haven't lived in Asheville long enough - still working on improving the coverage of the Down East scene. Snewf 21:48, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
The section on Winston is so bad it's hilarious. 129.252.60.60 21:11, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Henry Skywalker
[edit] Do some research...
If you want a decent article on NC Hardcore & Punk check out How North Carolina Got Its Punk Attitude. Actually, if you would check that article out you could probably clean this one up significantly. --Diablorex 14:16, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Church in Charlotte
The Charlotte section contains no mention of the Church of Musical Awareness. I'm unqualified to write on it, but it is an important detail. Can someone rectify this?Jimi 45 02:12, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
