Notre Dame Catholic Secondary School is a Roman Catholic secondary school of the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) in Brampton, Ontario, Canada.
Notre Dame offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, both the preparation courses in Grades 9 and 10 and the actual diploma program in Grades 11 and 12. Notre Dame is famous for its bright and successful IB students. Compared to some other IB schools, the IB program at Notre Dame has significantly less choice in courses, only offering the choice between Biology and Music.
Notre Dame is (more) 'famous' for its winning sports teams. The teams all carry the "Knights" team name. Along with football, Notre Dame offers plenty of other sports. These include; golf, hockey, soccer, archery, and curling, among many others. Notre Dame is also renowned for its music program. Under the direction of David Hills, both the concert and stage bands have won many national and international awards.
Notre Dame is also very active in the community. They are well known for their participation in the fall and spring food drives, held every year.
