Nydia Rojas (ARCD-8823; Arista Latin, 1996) was the first album released by American singer Nydia Rojas. It was produced and arranged by José Hernàndez, musical director for Mariachi Sol de Mexico. The album provides a refreshingly broad approach to the mariachi style, including both traditional and contemporary styles of delivery. The album includes one song written by Nydia herself ("Si Sabes Agradecer"), with the remainder being a variety of ballads, cumbias and rancheras.
