On trouve également d'azur à trois annelets d'or, à la champagne cousue de gueules, chargée de la croix de la Légion d'Honneur au naturel ([1] [2]). Chalon fut en effet décorée par Napoléon Ier durant les Cent Jours, pour sa résitance face aux Autrichiens en 1814.
