David Morse (Hamilton Massachusetts (VS), 11 oktober 1953) is een Amerikaans acteur.
Morse werd geboren als zoon van Charles en Jacquelyn Morse, en heeft drie zussen. Hij volgde een opleiding tot acteur aan de William Esper studio. Hij is sinds 1982 getrouwd met Susan Wheeler Duff, en zij hebben drie kinderen. Na de aardbeving van 1994 in Californië verhuisde het gezin naar Philadelphia.
Morse werd bekend als Dr. Jack "Boomer" Morrison in de televisieserie St. Elsewhere. Hij wordt vaak gecast in verfilmingen van boeken van Stephen King, zo speelde hij een belangrijke bijrol in de films The Langoliers uit 1995 en The Green Mile uit 1999.
