Estradiol (17β-estradiol) (ook oestradiol) is een geslachtshormoon. Het wordt doorgaans als een 'vrouwelijk' hormoon gezien maar is ook in mannen aanwezig. Estradiol heeft niet alleen invloed op het voortplantingssysteem maar beïnvloedt ook onder andere de botstructuur.
