Henry Hazlitt

Henry Hazlitt (28 november 1894 - 8 juli 1993) was een Amerikaans journalist en econoom. Hij werkte onder meer voor de New York Times, Wall Street Journal en Newsweek.
Hazlitt is vooral bekend voor zijn boek Economics in One Lesson, maar schreef ook ander werken, onder meer op het gebied van de ethiek. Zijn boek The Failure of the New Economics was een uitgebreide refutatie van het werk General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money van John Maynard Keynes.
Hazlitt was één van de founding fathers van de Foundation for Economic Education en was voor lange tijd als redacteur verbonden met het magazine The Freeman.
