John Banville

John Banville (Wexford, 8 december 1945) is een Ierse schrijver.
The Book of Evidence, één van z'n vele werken, werd genomineerd voor de Booker Prize in 1989, en won hetzelfde jaar de Guinness Peat Aviation Award. Zijn recentste boek The Sea, won de Booker Prize in 2005.
