I'm not a biologist and very UNCERTAIN about what insect this is. Please feel free to correct this page if you think you do know! This 'harvestman' (?) was found crawling in a kitchen in Hengelo (Overijssel) in the Netherlands. The body was maybe 6mm tall, the longest leggs maybe some 6cm. My first hunch was that it would be a Opilio parietinus, but it seems that in most places these are now replaced by Opilio canestrinii (which this probably is).
Ik ben geen natuurmens en erg ONZEKER voor wat betreft de benoeming van dit insecten. Als je denkt dat je het wel precies weet aarzel dan niet om de teksten te verbeteren. Deze 'muurhooiwagen' (?) kroop rond in een keuken in Hengelo (Overijssel). Het lijfje zal een 6mm zijn en de langste poten circa 6cm. Aanvankelijk dacht ik dat het wel een Opilio parietinus zou zijn, maar naar het schijnt zijn deze bijna allemaal verderven door de Opilio canestrinii (wat deze vermoedelijk is).
