[endre] Interwiki guidelines
These are the guidelines used for interwiki-links at Nynorsk Wikipedia, roughly translated from Wikipedia:Interwikilenkjer. If you are a robot, please take care to use a bot-flagged account.
- General instructions:
- Interwiki links should reside at the very bottom of each page (after category tags).
- Each interwiki link should reside on its own line.
- For appropriate display of interwiki language name here on nn:, [[nb:]] should be used in place of [[no:]]. (Please note that this is a local decision for nn: only — other wikipedias may have a different policy.)
- Interwiki links are sorted in two main sections: 1) skanwiki and 2) interwiki.
- Skanwiki instructions:
- An empty line and the comment tag <!-- skanwiki --> should prefix the skanwiki section.
- The skanwiki section should contain only the links to nb: (Norsk (bokmål), sv: (Svenska) and da: (Dansk), in that order.
- Interwiki instructions:
- An empty line and the comment tag <!-- interwiki --> should prefix the interwiki section.
- The interwiki section should contain links to all languages.
- The Scandinavian languages nb:, sv: and da: should nevertheless only be repeated in the interwiki section when total number of languages equals or exceeds seven.
- The interwiki section should be organised alphabetically by displayed language name (not by language code). (Example: fi: is alphabetised as "Suomi".)
See Wikipedia:Interwikilenkjer#Organisering av interwikispråklenkjer for example organization.
