Oh So Sharp Stakes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Oh So Sharp Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for two-year-old thoroughbred fillies run over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres) at Newmarket's Rowley Mile course in late September / early October.
It is named in honour of the racehorse Oh So Sharp, winner of the Fillies' Triple Crown in 1985. The race will be run for the first time as a Group 3 in 2007, having been upgraded from the Listed status it has held since 1993.
