• Originally routed from Athens to Little Hocking along current route 50 from Athens to 1 mile east of Coolville, route 144 from 1 mile east of Coolville to Hockingport, and route 124 from Hockingport to Little Hocking. ^[2]
• 1 mile east of Coolville to Stewart was unnumbered before 1938. ^[2]
• Athens to 1 mile east of Coolville certified as route 50S in 1926. ^[2]
• Hockingport to Little Hocking decertified in 1926. ^[2]
• Truncated at 1 mile east of Coolville and Hockingport in 1926. ^[2]
• Hockingport to 1 mile east of Coolville certified as route 124 in 1935. ^[2]
• Decertified in 1935. ^[2]
• Hockingport to 1 mile east of Coolville recertified as route 144 in 1936. ^[2]
