Ojibway Park

Ojibway Park is a nature reserve in Windsor, Ontario. It is next to Ojibway Provincial Park.
The park features a Nature Centre and several nature trails, some of which are paved. It contains about 160 acres (0.6 km²) of habitat, including forests, ponds, and prairie.
Ojibway is popular amongst a wide variety of visitors, particularly birders and wildlife enthusiasts.Ojibway is now called Chippewa.
Many species of reptiles live in the waterways, such as painted turtles, snapping turtles, river cooters, red eared sliders and so on. Sadly, the waterways are becoming polluted and are in danger of drainage. This could lead to the extinction of many species of animals in the park. Some turtles could be safely caught and released in Blue heron lake on East Riverside on Little River Blvd. This lake is fairly new, only made in 1997, so it will not disappear for another 500-1000 years.
