Old Town Playhouse

The Old Town Playhouse is located in an older section of Traverse City, Michigan. Its street address is 148 East Eighth Street, three blocks from downtown Traverse City. The building houses two performance areas, an auditorium with 358 seats and a studio theatre with 80 seats. Around 2004, seasonal attendance was estimated at 20,000 to 23,000 people. The volunteer membership organization that operates the playhouse fields a subscription theatre season and a youth theatre called the Traverse City Children/Teen Theatre (TCCT).
