OlYeller lives in Little Rock, Arkansas. His real name is Jesse Berry.
He has an English (Creative Writing) BA from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He was on the Razorback College Bowl team.
OlYeller's main interest in Wikipedia is editing grammar and punctuation. He is well-versed in modern English usage, especially the technical instructions of Strunk and White's Elements of Style and The Chicago Manual of Style.
Jesse's main hobbies are reading classic literature, playing in the Little Rock Kickball Association, and hosting the radio show Machine Language on KABF 88.3 FM Little Rock.
The origin of his screen name: when Jesse answers his home phone, sometimes he says "Yellow?" instead of the traditional American greeting "Hello?" He oft slurs the "Yellow?" into "Yeller?" and his friends started calling him "Ol' Yeller" after the dog of the same name.
